Youth of the Year 2026

Every year, Club teens compete in Youth of the Year, a Boys & Girls Clubs of America program. Our local teens prepare for months by attending workshops, writing essays, and crafting a speech that shares their unique Club experience.

Guests are invited to connect with fellow community members while enjoying appetizers and listening to powerful, firsthand stories from hardworking Club youth. The evening celebrates leadership, resilience, and the impact of the Boys & Girls Clubs on young people’s lives.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington’s Youth of the Year winner will advance to the Washington State competition, joining 18 other Club winners from across the state for the opportunity to earn college scholarships and represent Washington at the regional and national levels.
