Volunteer Opportunities in Southwest Washington
Volunteer Requirements
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all youth, volunteers must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old to volunteer in Elementary Clubs
- Be at least 21 years old to volunteer in Teen Clubs
- Complete a background check and reference check
Volunteer Types
Volunteer Onboarding Process
We offer a clear, safety-focused onboarding process designed to set every volunteer up for success.
1. Apply Online - Submit your volunteer application to get started!
2. Background Check - Receive an email from First Advantage with instructions to complete your screening.
3. Reference Checks - We contact your listed references as part of the onboarding process.
4. Volunteer Training - Complete required online training covering child abuse prevention, mandated reporting, and grooming prevention.
5. Volunteer Orientation - Learn about our programs, expectations, and your impact in the Clubs.
6. Placement - Get matched with a site to schedule a tour of the Club and meet the staff.
