NEW FAMILY & MEMBER ORIENTATION: CLICK HERE!
Do you have enthusiasm for a particular subject or hobby? Do you enjoy interacting with youth? These qualities are a great foundation to start building your volunteer experience with Boys & Girls Clubs! Listed below are some ways you can help be a part of our Clubs. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington we strive to create positive matches between our Clubs’ needs and the interests and abilities of potential volunteers. Our application and interview process is designed to help us make those matches.
Food Pantry Volunteer: Facilitate the distribution of resources to families who come to pick up their needs. Volunteers will work with youth from Club to assist visitors with gathering and bringing food and other household items to load and transport home.
Food Supply Volunteer: Organize and take inventory of the resources that BGCSW receives from the Clark County Food Bank once a week. This could consist of splitting food up by Club site, creating and printing “shopping lists” for the pantries, and keeping track of items that may be in short supply.
