At Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington, the safety and care of our Club members is always our number one priority! We are taking proactive steps in an effort to preserve the safety of Club kids, Club families, Club staff and our communities. We have provided information and resources to help you stay informed about the Coronavirus, information to help prevent the spread of the virus, and current updates about Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington’s current activities.
As a long trusted and reliable youth development organization entrusted with the care of local children and youth, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington (BGCSW), relies on the guidance and expertise of local, state and national health officials to help protect our members, their families, and our employees from all communicable diseases. Specifically in regards to the Coronavirus outbreak in other areas of the state, leadership of BGCSW has been intently monitoring reports and updates from the national Center for Disease Control, local state and local public health authorities, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Washington State Association of Boys & Girls Clubs, Vancouver Public Schools and Evergreen Public Schools.
Please continue to check this website for updates as they develop on the additional measures BGCSW is taking in areas of prevention and preparation for scenarios in the event of school district announcements of school changes or closures. We will continue to post updates from your local Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington as well as any new information or resources made available to us from local, state and national resources.
