Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Vancouver, WA – January 9, 2024 – Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington (BGCSW) proudly marks a significant milestone this year as it celebrates its 25th anniversary of serving youth and families in Clark County.

Since its inception in 1999, BGCSW has been dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment where young people can reach their full potential. Over the past quarter-century, the organization has impacted thousands of lives through its wide range of after-school and summer programs and services, including academic support, leadership development, sports, arts, and much more.

“The 25th anniversary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of our staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners,” said Francisco Bueno, Executive Director of BGCSW. “We are incredibly proud of the impact we have made over the years and look forward to continuing to empower the next generation of leaders.”

To commemorate this special occasion, BGCSW has planned a series of events and initiatives throughout the year focused on community outreach and empowerment through connection. Collaborative projects with local businesses, schools, and organizations will highlight the impact strong networks of support play in the development of young people in Southwest Washington.

“We invite the entire community to join us in celebrating this milestone anniversary,” added Francisco. “When our community is empowered together, we create opportunities and inspire the next generation.”
